Services

All services are entirely remote at this time. The initial phone conversation between myself and the potential client will help to determine appropriate “fit.” Explanation of the process, fees, therapeutic style, and client expectations will be discussed. Common reasons for seeking counseling include Goal Development, Communication Enhancement, Problem Solving, and Conflict Resolution, although every individual and every case is unique and treated accordingly.

Therapy

A client’s inability to navigate life circumstances often has to do with personal history, issues of self-worth, history of abuse within personal relationships, and subsequent distorted perceptions. Strength, autonomy, and empowerment are target goals, achieved via a safe, positive therapeutic journey.

Guidance

A pragmatic approach to achieving client goals will sometimes include professional services outside of the counseling office. Recommendations regarding how and when to utilize medical, legal, educational, and community services are frequently woven into the treatment process if deemed appropriate.

Consultation

Good therapeutic outcomes often include teamwork with other professionals in the client’s life. When appropriate and requested by the client, communication and information sharing may contribute to success. While not necessary in every case, it is a service available if viewed as valuable.

Clients

Adolescent and adult populations are offered treatment, although no single professional is right for every potential client. The majority of treatment offered here is geared to the individual or couples format. Common concerns include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, divorce or relationship issues, parenting issues, and situational changes in life.
